Chaupai 1
श्रीरामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भवभय दारुणम् । नवकञ्ज लोचन कञ्ज मुख कर कञ्ज पद कञ्जारुणम् ॥
Shri ramachandra kripalu bhaju mana harana bhavabhaya darunam . Navakanja lochana kanja mukha kara kanja pada kanjarunam .
O mind, worship the compassionate Shri Ramachandra, who dispels the terrible fear of worldly existence; whose eyes are like fresh lotuses, and whose face, hands, and feet are as beautiful and reddish as fresh lotuses.
Chaupai 2
कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरम् । पटपीत मानहुँ तड़ित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरम् ॥
Kandarpa aganita amita chhavi nava nila nirada sundaram . Patapita manahum tadita ruchi shuchi naumi janaka sutavaram .
I bow to the husband of Janaka's daughter (Sita), whose beauty surpasses that of countless Kamadevas (gods of love), whose body is like a fresh blue rain-cloud, and whose yellow garments shine as pure as lightning.
Chaupai 3
भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकन्दनम् । रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कोसल चन्द दशरथ नन्दनम् ॥
Bhaju dinabandhu dinesha danava daitya vamsha nikandanam . Raghunanda ananda kanda kosala chanda dasharatha nandanam .
Worship the friend of the poor, the lord of the sun (creator of the solar race), the destroyer of the clans of demons and giants, the joy of the Raghu clan, the source of supreme bliss, the moon of Kosala, and the beloved son of Dasharatha.
Chaupai 4
शिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक चारु उदार अङ्ग विभूषणम् । आजानु भुज शर चाप धर संग्राम जित खर दूषणम् ॥
Shira mukuta kundala tilaka charu udara anga vibhushanam . Ajanu bhuja shara chapa dhara samgrama jita khara dushanam .
Who has a beautiful crown on His head, ear-hoops (kundals), a lovely tilak on His forehead, and beautiful, elegant ornaments on His body; whose arms extend to His knees, holding bow and arrow, and who conquered Khara and Dushana in battle.

इति वदति तुलसीदास शङ्कर शेष मुनि मन रञ्जनम् । मम हृदय कञ्ज निवास कुरु कामादि खल दल गंजनम् ॥
Iti vadati tulasidasa shankara shesha muni mana ranjanam . Mama hridaya kanja nivasa kuru kamadi khala dala ganjanam .
Thus says Tulsidas: O Lord, who delights the minds of Shiva, Sheshanaga, and the sages, please reside in the lotus of my heart and destroy the wicked army of lust, anger, greed, and other passions.
