Lucky number

Is your mobile, vehicle or house number lucky?

Add up the digits of the number, find its ruling graha and see how it fits your own Mulank and Bhagyank.

Numerology is a traditional belief system offered for guidance and self-reflection. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice.

How to check a mobile number in numerology

  • Write the 10-digit number without +91 or a leading 0.
  • Add all ten digits. For 98765 43210 that is 45.
  • Reduce to one digit: 4 + 5 = 9, so the number's total is 9, ruled by Mars.
  • Compare that total with your Mulank and Bhagyank. A total that equals one of them, or belongs to a friendly graha, is a good fit.

How to check a vehicle number in numerology

  • Take the registration number, for example MH 12 AB 4521.
  • The usual Indian method adds only the last digit group (the serial): 4 + 5 + 2 + 1 = 12, then 1 + 2 = 3.
  • To count the whole plate, digits are added at face value and letters by their Chaldean values.
  • Compare the total with your Mulank and Bhagyank. If the number is for a family car, check it against the main driver's date of birth.

How to check a house number in numerology

  • Use the number on your own main door, not the street or the building.
  • Add its digits. For flat 1204: 1 + 2 + 0 + 4 = 7.
  • If the number has a letter, such as 12B, add the letter's Chaldean value as well.
  • Compare the total with the Mulank and Bhagyank of the person who will live there. Homes shared by a family are best checked against the head of the household.

Frequently asked questions

How is a mobile number's numerology calculated?

Drop the country code, add all ten digits and reduce to a single digit. That digit's ruling graha shows the number's influence, which is then compared with your Mulank and Bhagyank.

How do I check a vehicle number?

Add the digits and, for letters, their Chaldean values. Many people count only the last four digits (the serial). You can choose either option in the calculator.

How do I check a house or flat number?

Add the digits of the door number (for 1204 that is 1+2+0+4 = 7) and add any letter by its value if the number has one, such as 12B. Reduce to a single digit and compare it with your Mulank and Bhagyank. Use the number on the main door, not the building or street number.

Should I change my mobile number if it is unlucky?

Not necessarily. Numerology is a traditional belief, not a proven science. Many people keep a long-used number and instead pick a new number for a second SIM or a new vehicle that suits their Mulank. Before spending money on a fancy number, get a personal opinion from a numerologist.
