Vehicle number

Vehicle number numerology: is your car number lucky?

Buying a car or bike and picking a registration number? Enter the plate and your date of birth to see its total, its ruling graha and whether it supports your Mulank and Bhagyank.

Numerology is a traditional belief system offered for guidance and self-reflection. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice.

How to check a vehicle number in numerology

  • Take the registration number, for example MH 12 AB 4521.
  • The usual Indian method adds only the last digit group (the serial): 4 + 5 + 2 + 1 = 12, then 1 + 2 = 3.
  • To count the whole plate, digits are added at face value and letters by their Chaldean values.
  • Compare the total with your Mulank and Bhagyank. If the number is for a family car, check it against the main driver's date of birth.

Picking a number when you buy a new vehicle

Many RTOs let you choose the serial for a fee, so check your preferred numbers here before you apply. Look for a serial whose total matches your Mulank or Bhagyank. Remember that numerology is guidance for choosing, and no number replaces careful driving, insurance and servicing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check a vehicle number in numerology?

Add the digits of the plate and, for any letters, their Chaldean values, then reduce to a single digit. Most Indian practitioners count only the final digit group (the serial). For MH 12 AB 4521, the serial 4521 gives 4+5+2+1 = 12 and 1 + 2 = 3.

Should I count the full plate or only the last four digits?

Both are used. The last four digits (the serial you can usually choose) are the common method and are on by default here. Untick that option in the calculator to count the whole plate including state, district and series letters.

Which vehicle number is good for me?

Aim for a total that matches your Mulank or Bhagyank, or one whose graha is friendly to both. Many numerologists also prefer to avoid a total that is an enemy of your Mulank. The calculator rates your plate as a good, fair or poor fit using exactly these checks.

Does vehicle numerology guarantee safety?

No. Numerology is a belief system for guidance and cannot replace safe driving, insurance and regular maintenance. Treat the result as one input when choosing a number, not as a promise about accidents or luck.
