How numerology compatibility works
In Indian numerology every number from 1 to 9 belongs to a graha: 1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn and 9 Mars. Two numbers get along when their grahas are natural friends, and clash when they are natural enemies.
We read two numbers for each person. The Mulank (birth day, reduced to one digit) shows how someone behaves. The Bhagyank (all digits of the full date of birth, reduced) shows the direction their life takes. Comparing both for both people gives four pairs, and the result is a score out of 100 with a reading for everyday life, the long run and love.
Reading your result
- 70 and above (harmonious): your numbers support each other. Differences feel easy to bridge.
- 45 to 69 (balanced): a mix of ease and friction. Good understanding and clear communication make the difference.
- Below 45 (challenging): temperaments pull in different directions. This is a guide to where you will need patience, not a reason to part.
Before you decide on marriage
Numerology compatibility is a quick, free first look and uses only two dates of birth. For marriage, families rely on kundli matching: the 36 Guna Milan points, Manglik dosha, Nadi and Bhakoot, plus the running dashas of both charts. If your result is low, or if you simply want certainty, a consultation reads both charts and the numbers together.

How is numerology compatibility calculated?
We find the Mulank (birth day) and Bhagyank (full date of birth) of both people, then compare them four ways: Mulank with Mulank, Bhagyank with Bhagyank, and the two cross pairs. Each pair is scored by the natural friendship (friend, neutral or enemy) of the ruling grahas, counted in both directions. Mulank and Bhagyank pairs carry 35% each and the cross pairs 15% each, giving a score out of 100: 70 and above is harmonious, 45 to 69 is balanced, and below 45 is challenging.
Which Mulank numbers are most compatible?
In our scoring, pairs whose ruling grahas are friendly to each other in both directions score highest: 1 with 2, 3 or 9 (Sun with Moon, Jupiter or Mars), 3 with 9, 5 with 6 and 6 with 8 (Venus with Saturn). Any number paired with itself also scores well. The weakest Mulank pairs are 1 with 6 and 1 with 8, where Sun and Venus or Saturn are natural enemies. Does a challenging result mean we should not marry?
No. Numerology is one lens among many. A challenging result points to areas that need understanding and effort, not a verdict on the relationship. For a marriage decision, the traditional method is a full kundli matching (Guna Milan) with an astrologer, which also checks Manglik dosha, Nadi and the dashas of both charts.
Is numerology compatibility the same as kundli matching?
No. Numerology compatibility uses only the numbers from two dates of birth and needs no birth time or place. Kundli matching compares the Moon nakshatra, the 36 gunas and the full birth charts, so it needs exact birth time and place. Numerology is a quick first look at temperament; kundli matching is the deeper check used before marriage. Rahul Arya offers both.
Why do Mulank and Bhagyank both matter?
Mulank shows how each person behaves day to day, so the Mulank pair describes everyday ease or friction. Bhagyank shows the direction life takes each person, so the Bhagyank pair describes how well your long-term paths support each other. The cross pairs show how one person's nature meets the other's destiny.
Can I check friends, business partners or parents and children?
Yes. The same method works for any two people. Enter the two dates of birth and read the day-to-day and long-term sections; the love section matters only for couples. For a business partnership, also compare the owner's name number with the company name using the name checker.

No. The result is calculated from the dates in the page address and nothing is saved on our servers.
